What is the purpose of the
"Spring Mechanistion"

The Spring Mechanisation is dominated by the lily trial greenhouse. The lilies, which flowering at that time, can be judged and compared by the various growers who have delivered their bulbs. The newest varieties are standing next to the older, in this way you can compare the varieties very well.

For prospective and existing flower growers the The Dutch Lily Days are a perfect opportunity to see what there is to offer and how we test and guarantee the quality. An entire team of sales and purchase is especially prepared for you these days.They can tell you more about the newest varieties showed these days.

Please contact the organisation. On the page participating suppliers you can check which companies already participate at the Spring Mechanisation and whether it will be interesting for you to participate as well.

General Information (Dutch Lily Days):

The top 15 of lily companies has decided to work together during the open day's. So now we launch a brand new concept called "Dutch Lily Days" A whole week in which you can visit the top 15 lily companies of The Netherlands. For the collective website click here.

During the "Dutch Lily Days" you also can visit the Spring Mechanisation in Broek op Langedijk, meant for flower growers, suppliers and breeders but also ideal for clients and consumers. So it will be open for all companies and consumers. With a strong campaign everybody will be informed about the Spring Mechanisation and the new "Dutch Lily Days". Production and techniques together at one place, an ideal combination, according to the visitors and suppliers of the past Open Greenhouse Days.

During the "Dutch Lily Days" 500 till 550 different lily varieties which have been planted in the trial greenhouse, at the Spring Mechanisation location, can be seen. The different varieties have been split up in 50% new and 50% existing varieties. From more than 2100 lots trials have been planted in order to form a good picture of as many as different growers and varieties possible.

During this days the greenhouse will be extended with a large exhibition tent in which more than 40 suppliers will represent their companies. Read more on our Event Info page.
